Sprinkle 1 TBS per gallon of water into chicken drinking water. Always provide an additional water source without any additives in it.
Sprinkle 1 TBS-1/4 cup into chicken feed during a heat spell to help lower core body temperature.
During excessive heat, sprinkle 1/4 CUP into chicken dust bathing area on a weekly basis. This will help to lower flocks core body temperature and encourage dust bathing.
When temperatures rise above 85℉, sprinkle 1-2 TBS into hen nesting boxes to encourage egg laying.
This can also be used in chicken runs. For larger runs, it’s ok to use more. Remember, a little goes a long way!
